Day 1 - Today we start by visiting the famous Golden Circle in the afternoon - Þingvellir national park, Geysir geyser area, and Gullfoss waterfall. We stop along the South Coast to admire the waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss, and catch glimpses of Iceland's most famous volcanoes (Hekla, Katla and the infamous Eyjafjallajökull).
Overnight in or around Vik.

Day 2 - Today we drive further east and stop to visit some of the most beautiful places along the South Coast: black sand beaches near the village of Vík, picturesque basalt column formations and peaks at Reynisdrangar, black lava fields, the Landbrotshólar Hills which are one of the largest pseudo-crater areas in the world.
Weather and time permitting we will visit Dyrhólaey, a small but majestic peninsula which is the southernmost point of the mainland. Formed by a sub-aquatic eruption, it looks like a doorway in the ocean and is home to a large variety of seabirds.
We will stop at the beautiful Skaftafell nature reserve where it is possible to take a short hike.
Overnight in or around Hofn.

Day 3 - Today we visit Jökulsárlón to admire the beautiful lagoon by day. If the lagoon is not frozen it is possible to enjoy a 40 minute boat ride where you sail the magical lagoon to get close to the beautiful icebergs. If not it is always possible to take a walk alongside the lake and on the black sand shores and look out for the seals which can often be spotted in the lagoon.
Drive back to Reykjavik.
